Makahiki — The Bounty of the Islands

Makahiki – Buffet Dining
A bountiful feast awaits! Satisfy your appetite with fresh, local foods and international flavors in a vibrant setting featuring a buffet dinner and delightful Disney Character Breakfast.
  • The Experience

Dine on the lanai overlooking a koi pond—or sit inside amid colorful décor.

This casual, family-friendly restaurant is named for the Makahiki season, the traditional Hawaiian celebration of the harvest. Here, the spirit of Makahiki is celebrated through delectable cuisine and local artwork.

Throughout the restaurant, you'll find elegant glass designs and jewel-toned murals that depict the story of the Makahiki season. And as day turns to night, the restaurant's lighting gradually turns from rose to indigo with the setting of the sun.

Makahiki is conveniently located on the first floor of the main building, adjacent to The ‘Ōlelo Room. The lanai overlooks a shimmering koi pond beside the Waikolohe Valley pool area.
